Welcome to the School of Education at George Benson Christian University College! It is a privilege to represent the faculty and staff members that serve our campus through research, scholarship, teaching and support services.
I am extremely proud of the rich tradition of providing practical, experiential Christian-based education that our University has upheld since its founding. Our undergraduate programs prepare our students to become leaders with the moral depth and intellectual intensity necessary to meet the challenges of a time of critical transition in society.
George Benson Christian University College provides Christian Education accredited by Higher Education Authority in Zambia. The University is a center of excellence established to provide quality Christian education to meet the needs of the community in Zambia and beyond.

About the School of Education
Students that get a degree in our School of Education have a number of advantages. They can work as teachers, school counselors, and school administrators. There are many job opportunities in Zambia and outside the SADC region that need teachers that are trained. The students who earn a Bachelor of Arts with Education can move forward in a rewarding career.
Students pursuing a Bachelor of Education have many options to choose from in specialization areas such as Mathematics Education, Religious Studies Education, History Education and English Language Education.
The Curriculum for a Bachelor of Arts with Education degree will provide the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare students to be successful and innovative professionals in the field of education through coursework and application of theory and methods in student teaching.
Students also have the flexibility of full-time, part-time, or online programs to earn a Bachelor of Arts with Education degree. Also, knowing how people learn and how to teach them are important skills that translate across many career fields. The ability to effectively train others is likely to remain in high demand across a myriad of industries. Differentiating instruction depending on the student’s learning style is a skill that trained teachers can provide.
